Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for CSPs

  • We are an Independent Consulting Business that offers business opportunities to people wanting to take control of their own journey by providing quality customer service for various companies.

  • By registering with Kaizen Advance, you are not an employee. However, you are a self-employed 1099 Independent Contractor (IC), which allows you more flexibility to work and control your income. As an IC, you are responsible for your own taxes and expenses.

  • As a 1099 Independent Contractor, all Agents must be able to provide their own equipment for servicing. Agents are also required to pass assessments, complete and pass certification training for the opportunity, and have a quiet environment to work. Additional requirements include:

Must be a legal US Resident and Citizen

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must be able to pass a 7-year criminal background check

Must be able to work at least 15 hours (30 intervals) a week

  • No. Having a customer service background is beneficial but not required for this opportunity. Certification Training for the position will be provided. These are highly specialized, instructor-led online courses that provide information on the client’s systems that you will be using to service, as well as the requirements for the program.

  • These opportunities are not available to non-US residents or individuals residing in CA, CO, CT, DC, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, OR, PA, VT, WA, or WI.

  • There is no cost to register. However, once you select a company to service clients, these are the costs you may incur:

    1. Cost of any equipment the client requires (i.e. laptop, USB headset, ethernet cable, etc.)

    2. Pay a $30 background check fee (valid for 36 months)

    3. Pay a $20 Class Certification Fee (refundable after attending the first day of class)

    4. Arise Platform usage fee - Arise charges a bi-monthly usage fee of $19.75 (every pay period) per active user.

This is for access to their 24-hour Help Desk, accounting, and scheduling services. However, this fee is not charged until you are actively earning income.

    5. Kaizen Advance IBO fee - A flat fee of $25.25 will be charged for administrative purposes bi-weekly (every pay period).

  • Certification classes are usually 10 business days (2 weeks) up to 40 days business days (8 weeks) depending on the client. After you have successfully completed certification, you can choose your schedule and will get paid bi-weekly.

Most classes have an “Earn While You Learn” phase of training. This means that you will start taking live calls (and earning income) after the initial phase of training. The dates and information will be provided in the Opportunity Announcement (OA).

  • Yes. Kaizen Advance has a referral program. If you refer an individual and they service a client for certain a period of time, there is a monetary incentive. Please tell them to write their first and last name on their application after selecting the referral option.

Additionally, when you register on the Arise platform, it asks if you were referred to Arise by someone, please enter our CSP ID: 5679970.

  • If you have access to the Arise portal, go to documents and terminate your Master Service Agreement or access AVA and ask how to “Join a new IBO” for help. If you are currently under another IBO, they will need to release you to register with Kaizen Advance.

If you have the “Join a Service Provider” link, you will need to put our IBO ID into the search box (1054571), then click the little magnifying glass next to the search box, and click submit.

Please contact us by email or phone if you have any registration issues. We will be happy to help.

  • For the most part, it is up to you how often you service. You are in control of your schedule, but you must work at least 15 hours every week. The client may also have a cap on hours depending on the time of the year.

  • It depends. Each client has different rates and some offer incentives which can increase the pay rate. On average, the pay rates vary between $9-$16.

  • Yes. You can service up to three different companies if you want, but the certification classes cannot overlap. You can only be in one certification class at a time. Additionally, you will have to fulfill the servicing requirements for each client.

  • No, not at all. It is best to register ahead of time so when an opportunity arises, you will be ready to enroll in Certification quickly.

You will not get charged with fees until you are a servicing customer service agent (i.e. earning money).

  • Kaizen Advance pays bi-weekly through direct deposit only on the 1st and 15th of every month. A pay schedule will be given. Additionally, pay statements will be sent. Please be advised that you are responsible for your own taxes and other deductions.

  • Please refer to the Process page. Emails will be sent. Additionally, you can schedule a time to complete the registration virtually with a Kaizen Advance representative.
